Description

World War One ended exactly 100 years ago in 2018. This Remembrance Hymn honors the fallen. After the introduction, which creates a tense atmosphere, the hymn moves to a passage of serenity. The central part of the composition is based on the memories of battles, the suffering of the soldiers, and the violence that dominated the battlefield. Then the hymn returns, this time majestic as the piece ends with a note of respect for the men and women of the past.

Although this piece is inspired by the thoughts of World War One, it brings honor and respect for the casualties of all wars.
